Critical path

In the project’s selection and initiation, the Hightower Global Solutions project “High Learn Interactive Sales Learning Portal” was created mainly to offer training to its workers on online sales at the organization, since the firm was having difficulty educating its new employees due to the absence of seasoned workers.

 Critical path entails completing the most duties in order to properly assist the company in training its personnel about internet sales. Mckenzie created a thorough project charter outlining the project’s objectives, scope, and timeframes. However, there are some sections of the charter that need be rewritten.

In the table that accurately shows the project estimates considering that the “High Learn Interactive Sales Learning Portal” project charter dated 9/24/21, the project has to be extended considering the expectations that it would help Hightower Global Solutions achieve the set objectives, which include the necessitate to expand a “highly-engaging portal to aid in improving sales routine.” The project’s timeline must be extended.

If you use dedicated project management software rather than just a Microsoft Office product, the Microsoft product (Ms Project) and Primavera software will be comparable in the number of ways (Stanitsas et al., 2021). For instance, both offer a database into which project information may be entered. Both software programs enable the user to manipulate and move through project information. They also enable project document access and retrieval. Integration with other items is possible with the two softwares. Microsoft Project may be integrated with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Primavera may be integrated with other project and product management software.

It would be special in terms of collaboration—Primavera enables project team to work together more efficiently than spreadsheets (Stanitsas et al., 2021). It is also special in terms of compatibility. While Primavera software is compatible with different computers; Ms Project may not operate on any other PC. Personally, I prefer Primavera software since it offers improved project and product management features, which are critical throughout project development.
